The trends show that we should focus on four and five year olds who have finished in the top four in their last race. Distance is an important factor in this race and a proven track record at it is important.
These trends allow us to remove Debussy and Twice Over from contention bringing the number of possible contenders down to just five.
So You Think and Sri Putra have both run well over this distance but both need to raise their game to compete against todays class. Preference would be for So You Think from these two runners who has been improving rapidly in speed recently with a strong performing trainer and jockey in similar conditions.
Planteur is an unknown quantity and so should also be considered. My preference would be to have a win bet on So You Think and place a saver bet (so that you make no loss) on Planteur.

Interesting. I have an automated forecasting programme which has given me the following:
1. So You Think
2. Twice Over
3. Sri Putra
4. Planteur
For the first race yesterday it forecasted the first 4 (1,2,4,3) and forecasted the winner
in 5 of the 6 races, so I am hoping for more success today in the POW Stakes.
