Here are a couple of simple micro angles that will be worth noting at York this week. The first of which focuses on Dubawi and the recent record of his progeny at York. Using results at all meetings at York, not just the Ebor meeting, since the start of 2016, we can see that sire Dubawi’s progeny have an excellent win strike with the following criteria:
Horses Age: 3 to 5
Race Distance: 1m 2 ½ f +
10 winners from 20 runners
50% Strike Rate
+19.68 Profit to SP
55% Strike Rate
N.B. Dubawi progeny in races over 1m 2f.
The second York micro-angle is even simpler and looks at the record of trainer William Haggas in two-year-old races at the Ebor Festival. Since 2009 he has had
10 winners from 25 runners
40% Strike Rate
+36.12 Profit to SP
68% Strike Rate
N.B. William Haggas Runners in Juvenile Races
Any qualifiers from the above micro angles and a couple more that I have will be available each day exclusively for EyeCatcher Pro Subscribers.
